In this crack of life
Living brings so much despair
Often-times we try
Not to think or feel inside
Every life is formed
from a seething paradigm
Born to breed and fall
bumbling to the beat of time
time
We got time
Fell into the crack
Slipped back into line
Where did I leave off
What was on my mind
Nothing stays the same
As time passes by
Expanding from the crease
It’s the crack of life
Come all ye join us
Lets all have some fun
From microbe to the matrix
We’ll outlive our sun
This cosmic inflation jeopardizes none
More space for our consumption
While earth is on the run
Blazed on top of the infirmary
Saw no stars- but lots of satellites
Crack Of Life
Outright radicalized by texts and by degrees
Pushed and plugged its now attached to the TV
Lost in an endlessly permutating feed
Its receding like the shores of the dead sea
Dried out like the roots of some decrepit tree
An implosion of nuclear energy
Reborn out of an emerging paradigm
Incubating in the chrysalis that we call time
